Electric mobility is growing in importance and will determine our future. At LANXESS, we see new, more environmentally friendly forms of mobility as a future-oriented growth sector for our Durethan®polyamides, Pocan®polybutylene terephthalates and Tepex®thermoplastic composites. We command a wide range of Engineering Plastics for demanding applications. The materials we are developing for new forms of mobility are geared to a number of key areas, in particular electrification of the powertrain for vehicles both with and without a driver and development of the necessary infrastructures and logistics. We are also working on new lightweight materials and technologies, including to help increase the range of electric vehicles.
